Bahariya is THE gate entrance to several magnificent deserts and Mahmoud always chooses the exact right moments to relax and to eat and knows the most perfect places to stay overnight. Everything is very well taken care for.

If you might choose to accompany us on one of our desert adventures, you will sleep under one magnificent starry heaven you never saw before. If desired we can get you a tent as well. Altogether we make sure you will feel like being on another planet.

All meals will be prepared in a traditional Bedouin way, with fresh ingredients and prepared with care.  When you see them cook you become to respect them and recognize how they survive in the deserts for as long as a several thousand years. On a several days safari they bake fresh bread and pancakes for breakfast!
During the evening hours you can enjoy their traditional Bedouin music. Mahmoud is a well known tabla musician and traditional dancer in Bawiti and often enough he is invited to parties and weddings to entertain and perform. And of course you may choose to spend the evening in silence, everything is possible, just as your wish desires.

Two or several days desert adventures you can put together.

The Crystal Mountain area (Hagar al-Makrum) a wondrous area formed by nature, you can wander between the beautiful stalagmites, freed by earth's evolution process, and the different colored crystal formed calcites and silicates, who show themselves in several geometrical forms, geodes and glaciers,  stoned wood and so many more magnificent sculptures.
The White Desert, Sahra al-Beida is a breathtaking area filled with gigantic limestone sculptures with fossils and shells, formed through eons of transformation- and evolution processes. You will experience the feeling of having arrived on a total different planet. Moreover, the brilliant color changing landscape as magical it is at sunset or sunrise, will definitely also make you wonder and admire it even more.
The Western Desert, Probably one of the most beautiful and diverse wilderness areas, full of spectacular mountains and sculptures. Where you at one time picture yourself on the moon and imagine yourself a little later in the Great Canyon. Regularly you will see ley lines, which the evolutionary process freed, showing themselves in gorgeous white and blue plate-like crystals, we drive to such a plateau, from where you can admire a magnificent panorama. The giant phallus-like mountains seem to be so small and insignificant, but a little later when we ride between these giant creations, one can become aware of the grandeur of creation.
The Magic Spring Ain Serw, a mirage in the desert where you can bathe in one of three pools with healing water. Scientific and medical studies have proven that the water sources in Bahariya work soothing in diseases such as rheumatism and arthritis. In this area we can also see The Mountain of the Mummies which is there to pay a visit if that appeals you.
The Al Agabad area, Agabad means difficult and is an exciting area with surprisingly high sand dunes and extremely high mountains full of exciting caves and special sculptures.
The Black Desert, (as-Zahra as-Sauda) formed by natural volcanic magma, lava, pyrite and basalt chunks, where we can find two volcano's.
Al Hayz: We regularly have lunch in the Bedouin village of Al Hayz when we drive our wayin and out the desert. In Al Hayz you just can experience the atmosphere of the real Bedouin life.
Desert Adventure Examples from Cairo to Bahariya and in return:

Fayoum, Wadi Ryan, 1 night at least and a 2 day desert adventure

Swimming in the desert! Wadi Ryan, where you can enjoy the waterfalls and swimming in the Holy Quran lake, settled in the awesome Sahara sand dunes. This in combination with Wadi  Hitan, “A sea in the Desert”, which will impress you without any doubt when you see the immense transformations that took place during its evolutionary process, and you come across the 40 million old fossils from for example whales with feet!
Stalactite cave Cave Djara: a minimum of 4 nights and 5 day desert adventure

The journey to the cave stalagmites is a multi-day adventure for at least 4 days, because the location lies in the middle of the Western Desert. The road to the 'Cave Djara' is an experience in itself! We drive through beautiful areas on various desert areas, stoned mud and fossilized limestone plateaus and pass crystals, rhodochrosite stones and melon stone fields.
Day 1: We stay overnight at Abu Moharic, the "father of all sand dunes" which is about 35,000 years old and 1500 km long.
Day 2: We stay at Cave Djara. Djara Cave has a diameter of about 30 meters and is 8 meters high. The soil consists of fine sand carpet and the top of the cave contains beautiful stalactites and crystal-like sculptures. The present petro glyphs are made estimated to 10,000 years before Christ.
Day 3: We stay overnight at the Magic Spring. This is a source that is surrounded by palm trees, a mirage in the desert! On the way we lunch at a beautiful mountain and white lime special energetic place where many fossils can be seen. These are carved into flower shapes or phallic-like black stones that have formed from meteors, pyrite and basalt. On arrival, you can bath in one of three pools with healing water. Scientific and medical studies have proven that the water in Bahariya sooths diseases such as rheumatism, arthritis and various skin conditions.
Day 4: We stay overnight in the White Desert. This area includes impressive meters high and erratic wind and erosion shaped white limestone sculptures in which fossils and shells make the transforming ancient evolutionary process visible. There you'll really feel that you dwell on another planet. Moreover, the brilliant color change, the landscape as its magical  sunset or sunrise, definitely also make you wonder and admire!
Day 5: After breakfast and visiting some special sculptures we drive to the Crystal Mountain area. As we walk among the beautiful through the evolutionary process of the Earth released stalagmites and various colors crystalline calcite, which is shown in various geometric shapes, geode and glaciers, petrified wood and many other beautiful sculptures. After lunch we drive back to Bawiti, Bahariya.
Siwa: minimum 6 nights and 7 day desert adventure

If you arrive in Siwa, the world as you've known so far seems to stop in its existence. Because the Siwanese has been able to keep their resident secret, Siwa and the Siwanese inhabitants keep using old fashioned habits. And yet many through the ages found their way to the Temple of Amon! The inhabitants are Berbers who in the course of history mixed with Bedouin Sudanese slaves, who even speak their own language. Siwa is surrounded by hundreds of date palm trees and different salt seas and has many more attractions including magnificent Pharaonic tombs and the bath of Cleopatra ...

Day 1: Crystal Mountain area, Magic Spring and White Desert: at the Crystal Mountain you walk among the beautiful through the evolutionary process of the Earth released stalagmites and various colors crystalline calcite, which is shown in various geometric shapes, geode and glaciers, petrified wood and many other beautiful sculptures. We have lunch at the Magic Spring, where you can bathe in the healing spring water. After lunch we drive to the White Desert. This impressive area includes meters high and erratic wind and erosion shaped white limestone sculptures in which fossils, shells, make  the transforming ancient evolutionary process visible. Here we stay overnight.
Day 2: We stay overnight in the Western Desert, an area where you feel yourself one time on the moon and imagine yourself a little later in the Great Canyon. Enroute we visit the Ain Dallah Cave, a cave with prehistoric paintings.
Day 3 en 4: We really will go 420 km off-road! The j420 kilometers journey, can easily be done in one or four hours! We drive through the beautiful and mysterious Great Sandsea and will often unexpectedly, or on request, stop at special places. During our desert safari out of the blue the uninhabited oases Areg and Bahrain will arise like a mirage, with their blue salt lakes. You will experience a special atmosphere when we visit the ancient tomb mountain, or when we visit the area with the giant white high mountains, where tombs are from the Pharaonic period. In some tombs are hieroglyphics and wall drawings. It may be that you will find fossil sharks and dolphins teeth between the mountains.
Day 5: Wahet Bir, a warm freshwater lake between date palms is just a fairy tale from a thousand and one night ... We can enjoy a swim. During the day we visit the ancient city of Shall, the historic Siwa and will have lunch in a cafeteria at the luxurious Cleopatra Hammam, where you can swim in a bubble bath source. After lunch you are free to enjoy the social life and many small shops and cafes in Siwa. And again we stay overnight at Bir Wahet.
Day 6: Jebel al-Mawta is a huge sandstone mountain wherein several tombs have been eroded. We have lunch back at the Cleopatra Hammam and after lunch we visit the Amon temple where Alexander the Great pontificated Amon. And again we stay overnight again at Bir Wahet.
Day 7: Cairo. (or Bahariya if one follows the reverse route)
Through a minimum of 5 nights and 6 day desert adventure to Luxor

Day 1: Crystal Mountain area and a stay overnight in the White Desert.
Day 2: Farafra, where you can again enjoy a therapeutic bath in a hot spring while the team prepares a delicious lunch. We stay overnight in the special Sahara desert of Deir Al-Hagar.
Day 3: Dakhla, where you can enjoy bathing again, and this time diving in a healing hot spring while the team prepares a delicious lunch. WE stay overnight in the village of El Dahous, a modern Bedouin camp with the standards of a hotel. For information see

Day 4: Kharga, where we will visit the Bagawat tombs. This is a large Coptic Christian area with tombs from the 4th to the 7th century. Some of the 263 tombs contain Coptic wall and/or ceiling paintings and scenes from the Old Testament. Besides the tombs we visit the impressive Chapel of Peace, which include paintings from Abraham sacrificing his son Isaac, Noah's Arc and the Chapel of Exodus, where you can admire the paintings which show how Moses leads the exodus from Egypt. Overnight we stay in the Sahara of Kharga.
Day 5: Drive to Kilo 35, an exciting and breathtaking desert area where we stay overnight.
Day 6: You belong to say goodbye to your Bedouin life, your team and the deserts because Hamdi will pick you up with his luxury bus or touring car to bring you to Luxor, in about two hours time, while riding on the road that divides the 3 to 30 km wide beautiful, different colored crescent dunes area.
Gizeh Plateau and Sakara

All trips can be combined with a visit to the Plateau of Gizeh. We have special contact who can arrange the opening of several tombs for us who normally stay closed for tourist visitations.
